I am always changing this page because I’m never really satisfied with what I put out there about myself. Writing an About Me page is just really uncomfortable. Please bear with me as I attempt to answer your (Who the hell is this woman and why should I use/read her recipes?) question.
I had basic culinary training as a Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate. On a shoestring budget and a little boy to raise, food channels, cook books, and good ‘ol trial and error were key to the process of broadening my culinary knowledge. I’ve done a few stints in the culinary biz by selling in local bazaars. I had a Thai food stall, taught myself how to make and design customized cakes/cupcakes and I also accepted food orders.
Nowadays, I am in the advertising/media industry but food will always be a part of me that is why I am an account manager for premier food and lifestyle channels here in the Philippines. Even if I am busy with work, I love what I do and I try to make time to cook and share recipes with you. The hats that I wear may not be an official chef’s hat but I’ll take Sieg’s wife, Sancho’s mom and passionate cook over that any day!
